Days of travel

Thursday Mar and I had quite the experience.. on our non stop flight to florida we had a little scare... I had my head down on the tray trying to catch a couple zzz's and all of a sudden I felt weightless and mar's hand on my back.  Apparently, we were going to be going through a bit of bad weather in the next couple of minutes.  It was crazy.  People were screaming, drinks were flying all over the place I swore at any point those little oxygen masks were going to come down and we were going to be done for.  Our hearts were racing,stomachs upset the whole nine yards, it wasn't pretty.  Later on during the flight I was watching the tv and every weather station was talking about a hurricane area, our pilot later informed us that we flew directly through it and that's what all the turbulence was from.   Finally we touched down in Orlando, grandma picked us us and we were on our way to Melbourne!

We spent all thursday hanging out with Bill and Grandma just relaxing and talking.  Their house is really quite nice.  Grandma has done a great job decorating the place, everything is so nice and cozy!

this is grandma's office, how cool is this room?  that far wall is a waterfall from Germany as a wallpaper.  I thought this was sooo cool.  I want a cool wall like this in my house some day!

this is the living room with Mar, grams and Bill in it.  How funny is it that they have a working fireplace in their house in florida!  Bill is always cold, so they put in a fireplace and that's where he sits all the time.

FRIDAY :-)

we traveled from the east coast to the west coast today, without a gps!! Mar and I were so proud of ourselves for going from melbourne to dunedin without much help! Home sweet home (well at least for the next week!)

this is the west tower aka grandma's condo!!  look how close we are to the gulf of mexico! We are literally 15 away from the water.  In between the west and east tower is a community center and pool.  We plan on hanging poolside tomorrow and figuring out some adventures to go on.  Can't wait!!!!

This is off the top of grandma's building.  Mar decided to tell me she was afraid of heights only after we got to the top and she was on the ledge.  Good one.

my day wouldn't be complete without a little self timer!  we walked down to a little beach and took advantage of technology.

Mar chased a few birds..and stepped in a lot of their crap...HILARIOUS.
